What market trends are we are seeing in Boone, NC?

 

We do expect to see a bit of a slowdown in total number of homes sold next month compared to last year at this same time, but we feel this has more to do with travel restrictions and initial uncertainty than demand.

 

The good news if you are thinking about selling is that overall sales prices and the price per sqft on average has risen not only from last year, but from last month as well. With less properties currently hitting the market we expect inventory to get even tighter which means less competition for homes that are coming onto the market now.

 

Market activity in the first quarter was strong, well priced homes are still going under contract quickly, and with pent up demand we should still be on track for a great Spring and Summer selling season.
